Proclamation ceremony

Our school today commemorated the events of 1916 with a very moving ceremony. The event included an explanation of the origins and symbolism of the Irish Tricolour, an account of the 1916 Rising, a rendition of the song “Grace” by Ronan Friel, a reading of the Proclamation and the singing of Amhran Na bhFiann.
