Well done to the 33 Transition Year students who completed the Adventure Challenge component of their Bronze Gaisce Award on Wednesday May 20th and Thursday May 21st. The students climbed little Errigal and Errigal itself on Wednesday, stayed overnight in Dunlewey and hiked through the Poisoned Glen in very wet conditions on Thursday. Over the two days the students covered approximately 25km. Despite the tough conditions on Thursday all the students completed the hike in great humour and are well deserving of their award. All these Bronze Award students are now encouraged to sign up for their Silver Gaisce Award and to use the summer holidays to work on achieving this award.
